Testimonials

Amazing guy and connection with kids insane! My son had the pleasure of hangs with Luke for a number of months until schedules didn’t align.. highly recommend!

- Prue, Parent

Luke has supported our 8 year old as he has transitioned through an ADHD and Autism diagnosis process.

As our child worked through the diagnosis process, the changes at school as supports were introduced, and navigating some of the social interaction challenges he found difficult, Luke has been an incredibly positive force. Luke has worked with him to create connections with his peers, and encouraged him to join in and participate in a positive way.

Our child's teacher has remarked that whenever our child has had a session with Luke his engagement and connection to the others in the class was noticeably boosted all week.

We couldn't be more grateful for the work Luke has done over the last 6 months and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a play coach/mentor for their child.

Dan, Parent

It is an absolute pleasure to provide a testimonial for Luke Hickey who is currently working with 4 of my school age clients and has worked with another 4 children in the past, all under NDIS funding.

I have provided Luke with supervision in my Key Worker / Early Intervention Adviser role and assisted him to develop a part of his role as playground coach and mentor in educational settings. Luke is a valuable member of our multidisciplinary teams.

Each family feel incredibly grateful that Luke is supporting their child and providing such insightful notes and observations after each session. The school management have also informed me that Luke is a very valued worker at their school who is doing some exceptional work.

Luke cares deeply for his work and is very passionate about supporting children to build their confidence, self-esteem, physical skills, social success and emotional understanding and regulation. Luke understands neurodiversity and embraces each client’s strengths and special interests.

Luke also has a Diploma of Positive Psychology and Wellbeing and a Dual Certificate IV in Youth Work and Community Services, which add to his professional standing in delivering these services.

I would not hesitate to recommend Luke to any families and schools or services who are able to engage his services for children in need of support.
